Kudus Is why more likely to contribute over the next season or two. Both are unlikely but this feels likes total bs to me. Real and Barca are very interested supposedly. Say what you want about pathways etc but nobody is turning down Real Madrid/Barca for 10 Brighton first team appearances..

Guler is good enough to contribute as soon as he comes in. Kudus is incredibly inconsistent apparently and doesn't run games by himself, just has good moments in them.

You're massively underrating Kudus. Guler is 18 and has played one season at Fenerbahce. Kudus has played two full seasons in the Danish league and made over 80 appearances for Ajax. He is also the current Ghanaian player of the year and was their standout player in the World Cup. He'd also be our record signing by some distance. If he's signed he is coming as one of the first names on the team sheet.
