Sugar was clearly after somone to work on his property stuff - and that is more up Simons street than Christine. If I was choosing someone to run something and build it - it would have been Christine.

Made a bit of a mockery of the series though.

Made a bit of a mockery of the series though.
Why? Other than her yawnsville Apprentice-friendly self-assertion - she seemed like the sort of desperate individual who falls asleep on a pillow with word "COURAGE" stencilled on it - she never actually did or said anything of any great substance, she never showed much in the way enterprise or innovatio and was pretty limited, apart from the "whatever I want, I go out and get it, that's what I'm like" droneathon. He actually picked the one with a brain.

(Listen, I hate posh tossers as much as the next man, don't get me wrong. I work with enough of them.)

I thought Christina was a shoe-in. Whilst Simon is more creative, shes the one with more drive to get stuff done. Still, as its for his Property business (which, apparently, accounts for most of Sugars buisiness empire these days) I see the logic behind it. Besides which, Sugar has already mentioned that there is room for both of them. I’d be amazed if she has not been offered a job already.

As for this poll. It was 10-4 in favour of Christina before the show finished last night. Well done for those with a PHD in hindsight.

i knew it was simon as my previous thread showed. last weeks episode showed 'suralan' pointing in simons direction

Yes I spotted that - so you knew as soon as they'd taken their positions. That said, from halfway through the programme Simon started to become favourite - that plus Christina's building design was downright UGLY.

Another Howler by Sugar, I predict Simon will be sacked or leave within 3 months, Christina was far far the better candidate and I honestly thought Simon was one of the weakest of the original 16.

Sugar is losing all credibility what with the Badger travesty last year and now this, is the guy starting to get the early stages of senile dementia ?.

I reckon that's all the corroboration SRALAN would ever need...

He is a bright lad for sure, but I doubt he has application - he is the sort of fortunate, talented individual who I am not sure has ever needed it. If I wanted someone to run something I would choose Christina every time. Simon would be bored within weeks. She has brains enough I am sure.

And listening to Five Live earlier - it looks like Sugar agrees - they are talking about a job in one of his computer companies.
