There's a lot of hatred for Apple's hastily put together Maps app it would seem, all over the internets.
The thing is though they're licensing all the data from TomTom who have plenty of experience here, so it seems strange that the maps are just SO wrong.
Interesting comparison here of the new Apple Maps vs Google Maps on Android and the lesser known Nokia Maps which you can find, unsurprisingly on Nokia handsets:

Now admittedly the article is on Nokia's own blog so you'd expect it to come out in Nokia's favour but you can't argue with the cold hard stats. And I've always been impressed by Nokia Maps on my own Lumia handset. It's great being able to get navigation wherever you are and not need a data connection. An absolute lifesaver out in the sticks
