Neither, it is just a product, which i have one product of theirs, needs one more option, i guess it is good gear, but i am not 14 yrs and do not feel the need to queue like a prat for the latest gizmo

I've voted Lover as there was no option for "I like the things I have, but wouldn't buy Apple purely for the sake of it"

I certainly don't hate the brand.

Don't like because they have become the new Microsoft, steal other peoples ideas (Nokia) and because I-Tunes is and always was overrated.

Lover, have a very old (c: 7 yrs) i-pod and recently bought an i-touch as a replacement...it is a brilliant piece of kit, definitely worth the money...how can you fault something that has enriched my life with angry birds?

Why would you like Apples? Oh , if you would like a laptop or desktop that worked properly, was virtually virus free, had a neat operating display system, still could run MS Office applications and was fully compatible with other Apple OS applications. Oh and didn't crash and die at a regular frequency.

They are pure class.

Hang on, after MS-DOS, Microsoft became the new Apple with Windoze, but now Apple have become the new Microsoft?

Apple is a lot more than iTunes and iPods. It's operating system from inception was designed to be easy to use. MS-DOS was a flashing >. on a black screen when Apple was releasing operating systems with visual folders that you could double click on. It wasn't about trying to ensure every computer shipped with it's OS, it wanted you to buy an Apple computer, designed to meet the demands of it's own OS, and those of the user. It's no accident that 90% of the worlds design industries use Apple. Because their more expensive? No, because they are intuitive to use, you didn't need a degree in IT to use and maintain your OS, and creative applications worked seemlessly in the visual format.

I have to use a computer as a tool, it's my work. Not even sure I would have an Apple if it wasn't. I've used PC's and Mac's over the years, but always go back to Apple. They are generally a dream to use, the software always looks great as well as being functional without being too complex, and grab that aluminium MacBookPro out of your bag and it feels great in all. I bloody love my Apple stuff, would love it to be cheaper, but then would love Porsche to drop their prices as well!
