currency drop ~15%. price increase 25%. so im going with using an event to increase profit margins.

Well the £ has been in steep decline since 2014 so perhaps post-brexit £ crash was the straw that broke the camel's back. App prices have been the same since the App Store started I believe.

Aren't apple moving an hq to the UK - or at least moving there hq in UK to other offices in UK.

They're not leaving as the doom mongers predicted - maybe as we're cheap to employ

Surprised it's not been mentioned in this thread yet but Apple are also launching 2 lower price points for apps
To mitigate the impact of the latest increase, Apple is introducing new lower-price tiers.

Publishers will be able to charge users 49p or 79p for purchases but will have to re-price their products to do so.
