No. The Church own land and properies (a lot less than they used to) which is leased/rented to all sorts of people for all sorts of purposes.

It is as private as my back garden... unless there are covenants or public rights of way that say otherwise.

Church land is "owned" (well, actualy just administered) by the Church Commissioners

Why isn't it fenced off now, then? There's an unlocked gate from the road and no barrier whatsoever to prevent entry to the field.

We don't need a hotel, half th case for the stadium is that it'll help the hundreds of hotels in town. A giant climbing wall or swimming pool and bard would be much better
