They've not done their research. We took a cash payment a few years back so will not receive any money as part of any transfer involving Barry.

Not sure why any of us should be annoyed by this.

If we got £1 million out of Villa for a player they thought they could have for nearly nothing, seems to me we're laughing all the way to the north bank.

If we pissed off Gregory in the process, some would regard that as a bonus!

As for Lawrenson, I don't think he's recovered from being overlooked in favour of Johnny Crumplin football genius in the BBC Cult Hero awards (and having to take the resulting stick from Hansen and Strachan).
