Sound advice from the man.

Bry, there was something in the paper earlier about how hospital staff have a term "Hasselhoff" for someone who presents themself at A&E with a mysteriously acquired injury

(as in "well Doctor, there I was, hoovering the lounge, and would you believe it I slipped on the rug, and- what are the odds?- ended up with the hoover mechanism stuck right up my behind")

So I was wondering, whether you'd ever had to free someone from a somewhat embarrassing entrapment, as it were?

Not so far... but we have had something possibly worse.
We attended a house fire last year in row of terraced homes. There was some concern that the fire may have travelled through the roof space of the adjoining properties and we need to gain access to check the lofts of the neighbouring houses.
We knocked on the door of one neighbouring house but there was no reply, so we had no choice but to knock down the door to gain access. Two of the crew went up to the bedroom to get to the loft hatch. I can't go into loads of details, but all I will say is that if you are a well known local chap about town you may wish to think twice before you adorn your bedroom wall with photos of you being spanked (and worse) whilst wearing ladies under garments....

On a similar topic, last time the Labour Party conference was held in Brighton, we had to search vehicles before allowing them into the public car parks near the Brighton Centre site.

You would be impressed at the number of ladies who carry vibrators in their glove compartments, while amongst other entertaining finds were a couple of dildos, a strap on harness; and a set of butt plugs that one gentleman thought he'd safely concealed in his spare tyre.

Unlucky, sir :lolol:

It's ok sir, there's no law against possessing butt plugs in a public place, for now anyway.
