Did it perhaps have something to do with Gary Hart? I took a lot of photos that evening, mistaken for an official photographer on account of my brazen demeanour. There was one female supporter and familiar face who lowered her reticence filter, so I recall. All went well till I slipped over, and was laughed at by Norman Cook. Got a good pic of him with Kerry Mayo (the missus) and two other wives, though. Cracking night.

These days you can get little USB cameras ( I have one for looking inside engines )

You could probably achieve the same effect in the comfort of your own home ?
