When I moved house 12 years ago we had an upright piano - they weigh a ton, took 4 big blokes to lift it!

When we moved ours - our neighbour showed us how to take out the music part (the strings part - I think they call it the action) - it is quite simple, and then it is relatively straight forward to move in two parts.
