That same GO note, but an octave lower - is the starting note for your Doo-Doos.
It's not the starting note of my doo-doos. That's more like a raspberry noise, the pitch depending on how hard I strain. :lolol:

Sunday is going to be a great day but there is a real danger that we get comprehensively outsung by brizzle's fans.

The plain fact is that, however many we take, the vast majority of our fans will have forgotten (or never known) what it is like to sing at a game and won't know half the words. They'll also be less likely to have the stripes to wear as well. We NEED Falmer to ever change this.

Reminds me of going to the Northampton/Grimsby playoff at Wembley: 40000 Cobblers 'fans' who hadn't got a clue what to sing (I've some sympathy with that - what do you sing if you're a cobblers fan?) and appeared as a mass of people rather than fans with an allegiance. At the other end were 20000 Grimsby fans - a mass of black and white stripes - and a tremendous volume of "we only sing when we're fishing".

You're right about the possibly less rock-solid look - and sound - of Albion supporters on the day. But what else would reasonable people expect from a club that's been unable to accommodate more than a quarter of its natural fan base for seven... whole... years?

Winning so unexpectedly last Thursday has given the Albion a priceless yet revenue generating, hugely visual opportunity to demonstrate in the most practical way possible how much we really do need Falmer.

an octave is 8 notes in a scale.

ie

doh, reh, mee, fah, soh, lah , tee, doh

Doe a Deer a female deer
Reh, a drop of golden sun
Mee a name I call myself
Fah a long long way to run
Soh a needle pulling thread
Lah, a note to follow soh ( a tenuous line if I have ever heard one)
Tee and drink with jam and Bread
That will bring us back to Doh...doh..doh...doh etc
