Anyone see the Paul Gascoine Piers Morgan interview?

I read a magazine interview with Gazza a few weeks back. He is clearly working on things, but there was undeniably a significant note of self pity running throughout.

Great player in his day, but that does seem to blind people to some of the things that have gone on. Everywhere Darren Ferguson (the tosser) goes, he gets stick because of the time he was arrested for beating his missus up. Yet people seem far more willing to forgive- or forget- where Gazza did the same.

Didn't watch it, not exactly Gazza's biggest fan...However, from reading most of the comments on here, I strongly suggest that anyone who found the Gazza interview interesting to read Paul McGrath's autobiography 'Back from the Brink'. Sounds incredibly similar.

Cheryl has always struck me as quite a cold person who knows exactly what she is doing. Maybe she was messing around behind his back, maybe she liked a good row and it got out of hand(she would not be the first woman who likes it rough, Leslie Ash springs to mind), maybe Gazza is just a wife beater. One things for sure she kept taking him back for some reason. If I stuck one on my missus, that would be the end of that one, not that I ever would. Truth is no one really knows what goes on behind closed doors.
