Anyone remember The Indoor League?

Basically it was a 1970s TV show of pub games featuring darts, shove ha-penny, bar billiards, table football and skittles all introduced by Fred Trueman, which for some reason was on during weekday lunchtimes - straight after Rainbow.

Great hairdos, Trueman's Yorkshire bullshit, pint and pipe, and some nearly enthralling (in)action, disproportionately excitable commentators and all for a hundred quid first prize.

But the thing that gets me best about it is the inappropriately superb heavy bass funky Hammond organ theme tune. Marvellous.

I thought that bloke Spofforth (to whom the Sussex accountants are related) was the 1st fast bowler. And then Larwood.
