I'm about to head onto the 5/10c NL tables of Pacific Poker. Anyone else there or fancy joining me?

I've joined Ephemere, and opened a bottle of red if anyone cares to join.

Blimey Gritty, you're not hanging about...getting some PRACTICE in eh.

We've just had a curry delivered, and I'm going to watch that TALENT fing, but I'll probably be around a bit later to recoup my losses from Wednesday.

A-M is out for the evening, so I'm sat here with a nice bottle of red, US Open on in the background, seemed like an ideal way to spend the evening.

see im tempted to stick a tener in and see how i do

£10, will get you best part of $20 and on the piddling little tables I play, that would take a while to lose, unless you are very reckless.

That was fun, I took Gritt out last night,

I'm delighted for you Adie, if that represented a significant victory then that's excellent. How much did you win off me, Friday? Don't let it change you, the money shouldn't be allowed to go to your head.

Personally, I think I'll make it through this financial disaster, I'll just have to draw on some extra funds and do all I can to get the family fed.

I won a few quid last night too, but got a bit bored as the table was slow with the exception of Gritt.

It was a bit slow wasn't it. It picked up later on, but the early evening stuff seemed to have a load of people playing unbelievably cautiously. I counted 9 consecutive hands being won without showing at one stage, and the pots were feeble.

You seem to accumulate nicely though mate, I was up nicely early on, as the cautious on there were easily bullied into folding, but I didn't hold onto my early winnings. Nice to be on there for a long session for once though, I'm normally only in there for the odd hour or so.

Personally, I wouldn't want to play the larger stake tables, as I'm only there to pass the time, and have a bit of fun. I wouldn't have the bottle for the bigger tables, and it would just have me on edge.

As it is, I just sit there drinking, watching telly, and normally doing something else on the internet as well as playing poker. The fact that it only gets part of my concentration is fine, because what's the worst that could happen? It would take a nightmare evning to even lose a tenner on those tables, and that's how I like it.
