The few critics keep coming up with the same old historical 'errors' and impossibilities within this movie.
I simply thought it a very good film, which was never intended to reflect events in a precise and temporal way. Instead it captures the fear, chaos, setbacks and atmosphere of the dramatic events.
A couple of weeks back 5Live had a couple of Dunkirk veterans on, who thought it have a brilliantly realistic insight into how they really felt at the time and what it was really like. Many lost souls who hadn't ever expected to see war, rather than the band of brothers and mechanised portrayal in most war films.
Memorable.
