Anyone one ever been to Lisbon or Porto?

Me and the lads are doing a lads weekend next week in Lisbon for 3 nights and a night in Porto.

Just wondered while were on the whole portugal thing, if anybody has been out clubbing and spent anytime there?

I stayed in Porto for 1 night , for the UEFA CUP last 16 match against sporting braga.The pubs were still lively at 2/3 o clock in the morning, but the food was a bit shit.

Not been to Lisbon, but Porto is a fabulous city, especially down by the river. If you like port to drink - even better.

Ignore PD about the food, he's talking shite. Unless you don't like fish, that is. Oh, and it's not that expensive.

Finally, check out the Dragao Stadium, home of FC Porto - it's fantastic.

Lisbon on very pleasant. I had a week in Sintra when junior was around 3 and my father was looking after a church there.

They were living in a palatial house that was superb and we had just missed the Grand Prix at Estoril.

Lisbon waterfront is very chic to say the least and there is a massive statue of Jesus ? if memory serves me correct.

We also visited the most northerly point of Europe as well.

in lisboa u should try the club scene in alcantara which is under the old bridge or bairro alto in the centre.

Were flying into Porto first and heading straight down to lisbon.

Dont suppose anyone knows if you can get a train direct from Porto airport to Lisbon or whether you need to go all the way back into porto central to go to lisbon?

Quality, what sort of club is it?

Ive heard the best 2 areas are Bairro Alto & the Docos area?
