Anyone on NSC ever been to a concert at The Hove Centre?

A very under utilised venue. In 40 years of attending concerts, I've only ever seen G.T.Moore and The Reggae Guitars there (not something to boast about) and Ace, of "How long"? fame. I am going to see Tommy Emmanuel there next week. He's meant to be one of the world's truly great guitarists. Should be good.

10 c.c. on 24 October 1974 ... took my little brother for his 14th birthday. Guess it was a bit too avant garde for an ACE fan?

I saw a band there in the 60's. They were called The Rolling Stones. It burnt down shortly after. I had to look up where the Hove Centre was ffs.

Despite the fact that my nephew runs the Hove Centre, I've only ever been there for the beer fest...

I went to a benefit concert for the Albion when we were in the shit. Very odd night!

Headlined by Eighties Matchbox B Line Disaster, with a couple of local bands and a few of reasonably well known DJs including Midfield General. Trouble was there was the usual supporters club people (Auntie Liz, Sarah Watts and the rest of the blue rinse brigade) who would go to the opening of a letter as long as that letter was addressed to the football club. About 10 EMBLD groupies, a few randoms including myself and a couple of mates and that was about it.
