A thread on a message board has no power to alter reality or change destiny in regard to how well or badly Middlesbrough or Albion do this season.

No, no, don't you get it, when Boro start pushing up the table it'll all be because of this thread. And when Palace finally score it'll all be down to us laughing at them on here and Twitter. Just like all those Facebook statuses and memes have cured cancer, stopped child abuse and halted terrorism in its tracks  :wrong: :lolol:

It's terrible how quickly you can lose interest in the lower leagues after a couple of months at the top table, even The Championship, not realising there were mid-week league games being played and only realising there had been when you see the scores the next day. It's no wonder so many fans of the big six (admittedly most of them glory hunters) probably thought we were playing in League Two before this season.

I certainly don't miss the midweek games. They seemed to go on for eternity. There were so many of them.

I loved the championship and the fact we won most weeks. Whilst this season is a lovely experience I'm sure the novelty of prem football will wear thin if we become one of those teams who's never ending ambition is to just stay up playing ten men behind the ball at all away games.

They're higher than Sunderland, but then again, most are.

They're above Sheffield Wednesday :lolol: too. As are The Blades. sid_james.jpg

Fantastic league. Proper football fans rather than tourists and every game is a battle. Most competitive league there is. Just a shame the PL has ruined it by making it impossible to truly compete without gambling huge amounts of cash.

Championship is more interesting because there's more teams trying to win games, Premier League is mostly teams trying not to lose.

Plus it's less of a commercialised product.
