I have a diary note that it's supposed to be today, but I haven't seen anything yet. The PL website says that it was supposed to be early August, which is just plain wrong.

The dates more often than not seem to be penciled in rather than definite and also have seem to be announced late in the day.
So could still be this afternoon, or tomorrow, or Wednesday or .......
But why would the PL and TV companies want to give fans as much time as possible to arrange travel etc on revised dates

So it's not going to be today, only 2 days late currently.
It has been suggested one fixture is holding things up, so PL rather than announcing the games that have been agreed are holding back until they can announce in one go. Fans obviously don't count.

If this is the case, why? Do they decide these things at the last minute? The fixtures have been available for months and nothing exciting happens in November so why can’t they decide the games far earlier?
What could that fixture be?
Can surely only be Liverpool v Man City or Liverpool v BHA!!

That's because they're playing in the Europa league on the previous Thursday.

Tickets don't go on sale til next Tuesday for the November games, so I guess it will be some point between now and then.
That's not a TV thing specifically - it's been like it from the start as United play on the preceding Thursday in the Europa League.
