At about 8.00pm tonight there were loads of police cars outside, dog unit, CCTV van and ambulances. Any idea?

Heard rumours it's closing down as well. They've barred a load of regulars in the last couple of weeks in an attempt to clean it up. Can't say i'll be surprised if it does shut. Shame really as could be a decent pub.

Really? Things that bad or old bill just making a scene/example? I had just moved over here when my old local the Windmill closed. That wouldn't leave many decent pubs left in the area, the Romans will clear up.
