I saw a programme a few years ago about Jurgen Klinsmann, when he was playing for Spurs, he was driving around London in an old Beatle that he brought with him from Germany. Just because he was a highly paid footballer he saw no need to spend money on something flash when what he already owned was suitable for his needs, came across as a top bloke in the interview as well.
