Anyone know much about spiders?

We had a few False Widows in our home and had to deal with them, they didn't look anything like that fella. I'd say it's harmless and just needs rehoming in the garden

Cracking colours! Put that on a rose leaf at this time of the year, turn your back, look around again and see if you can still see it.
Will its contact with your skin make you blind?

I didn't before I got here, but I do now.
Monster spiders here, but I would never kill them.
They were here millions of years before us and should be treated with such respect.
It is easy to to put a container over them and enclose with a piece of card and then put outside.
Huntsman spiders here are as big as your hand and handy to have around, as they munch on the cockroaches.

Call that a spider.....nah, this is a spider, a Sydney Funnel Web.
Caught him in my downstairs loo last week, he was behind the brush.
Most poisonous in the world. A venomous bite from its razor sharp fangs shuts down your organs & respiratory system.
Average person has about 4 minutes to get some anti-venom into their bloodstream otherwise they die.
Major shortage of anti-venom here in Sydney at present.
