Well, I'm enjoying this a lot more than the friendly this afternoon.

Real shame to see Nigeria 2-0 down when they've had the better of the play. Not too badly organised in defence until it comes to corners  Keeper is all over the place!

I'm liking Oshoala going forward though and hopefully the game is a long way from being over yet.

That ****ing trumpet is doing my head in!! At least the England band, as crap as they are, vary the tunes a bit.

I think you may be surprised how much they DO earn...

"Players in the United States team can already command an income of up to $2m a year "

"Women's Super League has established itself as a semi-professional format since 2011 and the salaries are improving up to about £60,000 a year. "

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32976876

There are only a handful of players in England who earn that much, the majority of them still have to work.

Give the players part time wages and you will struggle to ever produce top quality football..

Yep, the future looks bright for the young Super Falcons :)

Considering their age and inexperience and the fact that most are not full time professionals, unlike Sweden, that's a cracking result and they could easily have won that game. Biggest let down is their keeper, otherwise a good team well capable of escaping the group of death and progressing in the tournament.

Really enjoyed that game.

After leading twice, Sweden were hanging on by the end as Nigeria just never gave up. Exciting game to watch!

Saw the second half of England v France. The team did quite well, without ever looking like they believed that they could score. Lost 1-0. Apparently we haven't beaten them for over thirty years!

France's goal was a screamer.

Here's hoping we show more desire to attack against Mexico than we did against France.
