Anyone in row A or B of ESU?

Haven't heard anyone on here saying they are in the front two rows of ESU (prime spot!) - just wondered if the club have actually sold/are selling these, or are keeping them back for some reason (1901?)

I guess that's a 'no' then...

ESU Row J - we didn't want to be too close to the front in the event of catching a bit of rain...

When I bought my ST (ESU row J and next to the exit to avoid those embarrassing moments when you have to visit the bogs!), the crew at the counter said the folks being moved to make way for the new away area had first call on the the ESU... which may account for some of the front rows being taken...

No chance of getting wet at all in ESU. Row A is equivalent to 25 rows back. Even in ESL, it's only the front 10 or so rows that get wet - and you're obviously closer to the roof than the lower tier.

Were you offered A or B incidentally?

Yes, they had first shout - but haven't heard of any of them getting the first two rows either. Perhaps they just don't go on NSC...

Perhaps they're only offering them to fans who live abroad then! Were you one of the ones that got shifted? That's an amazing seat.

I was E1G this season (brilliant timing moving back to the UK as the club moved into its new home) so yeah I had to move. I initially chose a half-way seat 6 rows back but after looking at a video a friend showed me of his front row seat in the West upper I cancelled that seat and chose a new one front row, apparently about 25 yards from the north goal-line. Cannot wait!

Fair dos then if they've gone to those who had to move. I'm in row C, block C just behind you. Swap if you like. :)

No but if you buy me a pie and pint at half time I'll let you sit there after the match :dunce:.

Row C should be brilliant anyway :albion2:. Are you a new STH then?

No, I'm a voluntary mover (from ESL). Think I might have met you in Dick's Bar before the Donny game btw - unless there's another STH from Malaysia...

We were amongst those who were moved due to the away fans being relocated. It was my Dad who arranged the new seating, however, so no idea as to the reasoning for not sitting at the front then. Not sure whether he was able to choose the front rows or not.

Looking at the planning doc cross section, I think you are right. It would take driving rain @ c.45 degrees to hit row A ESU.
