What a disater, however if we play Surrey or Somerset away at least we will not be the favorites and can possiblly relax a bit more.

Although looks like I might get Leicester away done rather than another Lords final

Just got back. Terrible display once again, apart from Nash and Joyce with the bat. soft bowling again and i dont know what yardys field settings were up to. We actually left with 7 overs to go with them only needing 25.

I fear for us against title chasing Durham next week and I dont fancy us wining at the oval. Luckily our early season form looks like it may have saved us.

Not the greatest game today, Mouth didn't have much to shout about, hopefully be better next week at the Oval.

Way out West
We set off from Somerset in glorious sunshine, and were completely unprepared for an afternoon freezing in the Mound Stand. Wife had to buy an "Old Father Time" blanket to keep warm! We were VERY average - batting lacked urgency (apart from Nash) - Yardy should have come in earlier, as everyone else was playing like it was a four day game. Couldn't understand the lack of urgency - maybe the players just couldn't be bothered. Fielding and bowling also below par. Can only get better!

Entry is free for MEMBERS just to clarify.

Non-members are £15 and juniors are a pound.

Defo going to this, should be a good day out.

Excellent move by Surrey - should be a cracking atmosphere - Oval can hold over 20,000 so no probs about gettig in.

would be even better if it were changed as it clashes with Rottingdean's Village Final at Lords
