No.

When you try and buy something you are making an offer. The retailer can choose to accept that offer or not. You can rest assured in this case that they won't.

Fair enough then, someone at Tesco is going to get a monumental bollocking for this, also by taking the site down it is losing them money as people arent buying.

Should also be said that "Tesco Direct" is trending on Twitter in the UK now, shows how quickly word spreads.

They advertised a price, you accepted their terms. Surely that is some form of contract? Especially if you had paid up before they took it all down. I doubt it will be honoured, but you've not lost anything for trying!
