Anyone else putting today's result down to the Watford spanking?

It was certainly a defeat that was coming, but we kept managing to just paper over the cracks.

Probably a bit harsh on the defensive unit, but as an attacking outfit we had been poor for a while, and certainly a shadow of what we were today.

I can't help thinking a little wake up call, on t'telly, has worked a treat on 'Team BHA'.
Derby, Brum and Blackburn (1 chicken 2 chickens) should help us on our way.

As usual, plenty to look forward too.

It is certainly my view of things. It, and the fans' reaction, has FORCED Poyet to play a more expansive game going forward. Absolutely what has been needed for months. A couple of signings, move on CMS, and the Gus Bus may be set for another journey!

watford like millwall before them played way above there normal performance against us , they both obviously raised there game, but have both come down to earth with a bump since playing us . Watford did not spank us but our performance in both games was not up to scratch

Whatever the previous results, nothing matters apart from what's happening now.
Our last 2 games have been magnificent and we've started scoring again.
Confidence and positivity is rapidly rising.
Fantastic time to support BHA.

Exactly this, it was one game we lost get over it.

If that were the case, nobody would ever learn anything.

I admit I've had my fair share of moan up's about formation and selection, however after the last couple of games I've stuffed myself silly with humble pie.

I'd put today's result down to two great finishes and Newcastle looking uninterested, disorganised, poorly led and half asleep. They were a bunch of reserve players playing way below their potential and we took advantage. Read nothing more into it than that.
