Not many. The point was that if you’ve found a letter in its correct location it’s an obvious move to repeat it so that you can concentrate on the unknowns.

Yeah I'd managed to get those first two points, be lost without them

Your aim to to find the solution in the fewest possible attempts.

Having 2 correct letters after the first attempt sets you up well to get the answer quite soon.

Your second attempt was never going to be the solution but you could have found a word using the known letters which could / will be.
