My starter word doesn't have an 'S' so I try to use that if it fits on guess 2. Always try to get to which vowels are used asap. My starter word has A and E in it. Here S, R and E had to be in the word if I was to use an S plus my yellows. The next vowel I tried was a U and hey presto. It's probably 70% luck and 30% strategy though. It just so happened today's word fitted. The S is as much to rule out as in though. Two yellow at the start would probably normally get me a 3, 4 or 5.

Thanks - I like the idea of not using a letter in the first word. That letter is one I have almost always had in my first word, so I shall give it a go!
