I prefer to look at it the other way. It's us brainy lot who know loads of words that could go in there. It's the others who only know one word to fit.

Thank you, very magnanimous. It was a titanic struggle that ended, as it was destined to, with a bit of luck -- and let's face it, luck is a huge part of Wordle. Could easily have gone the other way but today the coin came down heads and I managed to call it. As for the next round, I'm suffering more than a touch of impostor syndrome but let's see.
