That is interesting ... particularly the bit about hardest and easiest words and a look at their respective average scores.

It would be really handy if the geeks running it put players' average running scores into their summaries. It would save me working it out every day. It's certainly not impossible as German Wordle does it: I see no reason why it would be too difficult for English Wordle

I assume you have made an excel spreadsheet that calculates your average score and run, using a 7 for a fail (ha ha - I realize you never fail). If not, and you want one, PM me and I will email it.

Same here although in my case I guessed it but then didn't think it was a word they would use (won't say why so as not to ruin it for others) so went with something else.

Same, I thought about it as my third go but dismissed it and ended up with a fail

I wonder how many people looked on here before they did it and were alerted to it being so unusual/suspect so were basically helped, although there are no direct spoilers.
