I'd agree. The ones you're likely to fail on are words where you've got all the letters but one and there are still a multitude of possibilities.

Eg. Shar_ - share, shark, shard, shart, sharp

That's what got me my only fail, anyway

Yep….my one fail was -atch……..watch, match, patch, latch, batch, catch, hatch……….

I suppose they're the ones you use a second word with as many of the possible first letters in as you can - like 'charm', which rules out four words (ratch maybe Cumbrian dialect though...)

The advantage of getting absolutely sod all on your 1st guess (when playing in hard mode) is that you get free reign on your 2nd guess to play for letter elimination, rather than an actual guess at the answer. That very much informed my 3rd attempt.
