Kinda pissed off.

Now that the day's over, can anyone offer any explanation of the number of tweets I saw yesterday from people complaiing that they had the first three letter and the last one, but not the fourth.

Now, I could only think of two words that fitted: TROPE and TROVE - how on earth did people have four or five goes? It's been baffling me all day, can anyone offer an explanation?

I'm also pissed off with the Welsh one that marked my second letter, L, as yellow. So, I struck out trying to work around it ...but L was the second letter and should have been marked green. It's the first time that I've seen a mistake in any of the four that I do

It took me 6 yesterday, after having 3 letters correct on the second go, see my post this time yesterday.
But being yesterday, I have no idea what I guessed or even what the word was!

I think that’s the first time with no yellows.

Someone PM’d me asking for the details behind my average. I’ve seen that others have posted their summary table from Wordle, but I’m nervous about doing so this morning as I’ve seen that when others have done so it has sometimes also been underlayed with part of the keyboard thus revealing clues about that day’s answer. Could someone pls post instructions about how to post it without also disclosing part of the keyboard?

*when I do manage to safely post the summary, you’ll see ‘2-2’. This happened when the site transferred to NYT. I got a second go at that day’s challenge.
