Wordle is as easy as one’s first effort (guess) allows it to be. Any score under 3 has a big chunk of chance to it attached to a reasonable level of deduction, but I congratulate you all the same.

Indeed. Today, I had two greens and a yellow on my first guess, which made it considerably easier. But I was referring to the fact that I've read four articles (and many tweets) in the last week, all of which claimed that it had become harder since it moved to the NYT; despite the NYT saying that it had removed some difficult words but was otherwise keeping the same ones. It's not easier or more difficult since the NYT took over, everything comes down to the luck of the first word
