Without wishing to accuse anyone of anything untoward, especially your good-self (which is not my intention), if it is indeed 2x1 instead of 1x2 the total does not add up to 8 but 7.

I know I wouldn’t be as competitive about it without the daily table

I had 2 orange and 8 grey after 2 attempts, it then took me something like 20 to 30 minutes to think of a word that fitted everything I'd deduced to that point. When I finally got one, hey presto it was the word. I'm tempted to think there was nothing else that would have worked!

Finally! I've been looking at it all day. No idea how it eluded me for so long. I was adamant that there were no possible words using those letters!

My run of 3's has come to an end. Average is 3.45
