How do you work out your average if you have failed to complete a game? Do you count that as 7? Or ignore it? Or something else? I've failed on two, played 20+, but can't work out how to calculate an average. What's the NSC protocol?

A maths question? You may be asking the wrong person! I add all the scores together plus a 7 for my one irritating fail and then divide by the number of games played. Someone with a logical mathematical brain might like to check my average because I make it the same as yesterday which I don’t understand seeing as I got a four today

Your average won't change much once you have played quite a few games, you have scored 4 on 10 previous occasions so another 4 today won't affect it.

3.89 as of today is correct. I haven’t looked back to your post of yesterday to check whether it was correct then.

As you do more and more games so it becomes harder and harder to move the needle of your average…
