Basically the only other word it could’ve been, from the greens we had at go 2.

I had exactly the same after two goes, yet managed to think up another two words before the more obvious one on my fifth go!

Got it in three today. Went with the word as a guide to letter placement/elimination, so imagine my surprise when it came up all GREEN!

3 greens after the opening gambit, but the way they fell left a lot of possible words.

A disappointing 4.

BTW, impressive as the leaders stats are, you can't go from 22/3.62 to 23/3.08

I think something must've gone awry with my maths.

Today, unless I'm mistaken, I'm on 25 average 3.6 after scoring a 3. Yesterday would've been 3.625.

We are NOT ignoring fails! I was very grateful that 7 was suggested for my one fail! Should be 10 imo

I think 7 is fair because after five tries I find I am normally close and luckily I have always managed to get it on my sixth attempt.

I only mention it because it appears some are ignoring fails by the calculations.
