Four today in English - I had my average wrong yesterday but it's now 4.07 (I've checked it three times)

Three in Welsh (but it's a bit of a swiz as they had the same word as they had two days ago)

There is a Welsh one? Can't work out if that is really easy or really hard.

I've done three now and have twice got a better score than for the English one

It should be more difficult as there are seven vowels in Welsh but as LL, DD and FF are counted as double letters rather than single ones, there's a limit on the number of words that are available.

Played 24, won 24, and average back down to 4.0 now.

Mine too. Any comment on the following? I find it really hard to get it down to fewer than 6 guesses because I think it will always call your guess wrong if it can, i.e. it is possible that another letter (that is available) will fit somewhere. This means that to finish you have to be at a stage where only one word is possible. In view of that it seems best to 'get rid' of the awkward letters early because the programme will seek to lable them wrong if it can. It seems quite different to playing wordle
