Edit: but copy and paste doesn’t! How do you do it on an iPad?

In Settings on the game, "Hard Mode" consists of a rule that "All revealed tips must be used in subsequent guesses" ....

It never occurred to me to do anything else and I definitely haven't yet understood optimal strategy.

How do people get that grid to share (without the letters)? I tested the Share function by sending it to me and it revealed the letters. I can't see how to take them out

Delete the URL letters in the link box then copy. That works for me.
