I have a couple that I rotate, both of which contain the most commonly found letters. Generally it means I get it in 3 but, of course, a little luck always helps.

How do you lot get it so quick? I've done it in three once, six once but the rest have all taken five attempts. Is their some clever strategy? Or am I a bit thick with words?

Words like radio, stare, irate are a good start.

Plus, you don't have to use your green or yellow letters in subsequent guesses, if you want to explore the alphabet (and don't have a sure-fire guess).

That took 6 goes, I was just demonstrating it to someone else so it looked like a first attempt. If that makes sense.

Three today. Bad start (two golds) and no improvement with my second guess, but that took a lot of obvious letters out of the running. And got lucky with my third word.

i had honed it to "rates", don't tell anyone, but i'm now moving to "soare"
