I also enjoy the ‘challenge’ and am blaming my average on being cavalier in the early days. I usually expect to get in 4 more often that not and eventually hope to get my average below that but statistically my wanton youth makes it difficult. I’ve never failed yet but have also only had two 2’s - just pretty average really I guess. Still good fun though

Your support is not that great
For some reason I struggled with today's one after a nice run of getting it in three.
Finally worked it out on the fifth attempt but it took me far longer than it should have.

How does one get involved in such a thing?
Just post your average and current and longest streak. Don't forget to count any failures as a 7 when calculating your average.

Interview on Radio Sydney with the creator Josh Wardle - hence the name of the game.
Interview was 3 weeks ago but was replayed just this morning as the game has really taken off since then.
200,000 playing 3 weeks ago and now over 3 million.
He originally invented it just to play it with his partner on the couch in the evenings with no intentions of worldwide mass appeal - he's already concerned that he'll run out of unique 5-letter words which are now computer generated - even he doesn't know what's coming.
