[Technology] Anyone else playing Wordle?

Yesterday was an accident. The generated word 'fetus' was released, but then someone at the NYT thought best to change it given all the controversy over the pond on the subject. So anyone doing it between 00.01 and around 06.00 in the UK had fetus, anyone after that had shine.

The NYT Wordle should be the same word for everyone.

There’s definitely 2 different ones again today. I did it this morning as usual and got one answer. Just did it again on a different device and got a completely different answer

Not done one for a while. Opening word scored a direct hit on the last letter, but from there I scrabbled around a bit before getting it in 5 with a sudden "Oh why didn't I get that sooner!"

"Scrabbling around" involved using 3 words I knew were wrong in an effort to narrow down the options...

I don't know why but it seems to change to what you've got above once you start to type something after pasting

The best way to ensure it appears with the coloured boxes is once you've finished typing what you wish to post, is by hitting advance, then without adding anything else to the post, hitting submit reply

My post further down worked fine initially. I then went back in to edit something, and it went stupid. Fixed it by doing what you said - going into the advanced editor and submitting.

I've also achieved a personal target. I've been aiming for a total of 12 for English, French, German and Welsh and cracked it today (2, 2, 3 and 5).

I'm in Munich right now, all that pilsener is clearly good for the brain

I should also point out that the German word is brewery - which seems highly appropriate
