Honestly I just feel like our minds drift in and out of making those intuitive guesses. I had a phase where 3 was my regular score for a while, but more recently I’ve drifted back out to where I started (mainly 4 with a smattering either side)

Some days it seems really simple, and others it’s like pulling teeth. I sometimes wonder if it’s any kind of barometer of how much background thought on other subjects our mind is dealing with on any given day.

I think a lot depends how ‘lucky’ one is with that first guess. I’m sure many of us have a bank of first words that we try - some days you just get a strong start and can build from there.
I know you can’t say but I’m being especially dense tonight as I’m trying(unsuccessfully) to guess the word you started with!
