My downfall has been trying different opening words every day… I believe the strategy of sticking with a few proven pairs of words delivers lower scores. Oh well

Happy result after a relatively challenging morning in retirement world.
It hardly ever snows much where we are in Co. Galway - overnight we actually had a bit but the real problem was the power cut which meant the electric gates wouldn’t open(which can’t be opened manually I’ve now discovered - here when we bought the house). No internet or phone signal. 4 adults, 2 young grandchildren and a range of work, medical and animal appts kyboshed. At least it wasn’t during an Albion game!
Back on with a 2!
