[Technology] Anyone else playing Wordle?

If I get a yellow on my starter word for a very common letter, I'll sometimes go for something completely different on go 2 to eliminate letters.

Interesting -
I'm always after the lowest possible score - wouldn't risk the chance of not getting the next row correct.

I try to avoid vowels as much as possible, as these often sort themselves out
I also have a spreadsheet of previous answers to eliminate a fair chunk of guesses.

Had seen a few mentions of "Hard" mode recently.
Decided to have a look at what that might be.
Turns out, it enforces the use of all hinted letters.

Does anybody ever not reuse the hinted letters?
Seems an odd approach to me.

If it's one if those multi-option answers you might want to play a 'sacrifice' word to test some of the possible letters.

It is actually a starter word I used regularly on Wordle a few years back but got bored with it and started coming up with different starter words everyday just for the novelty- but I actually stopped doing Wordle altogether until once a few days ago then today - I literally didn’t have time to think of anything as I was rushing out the door so just reverted back to an old favourite!

I often check the WordleBot post-game and he tends to say a second guess which didn't use an identified letter would be more efficient.

I guess his little robo-Brain is overly logical though and he doesn't value the glory of the 2.

Nope, not close - mucked up line three which was very annoying - thought I had two words left to chose from after my 2nd line but I in fact only had 1 because I put the same orange in line 3 as was already ruled out in line 2 and chose the wrong ’option’ - meh!! This is why I stopped doing wordle you bad trigger Harry - especially at 1 o’clock in the morning
