Not sold anyone of note have we yet we have big signings like Izquierdo and Andone on the treatment table, Locadia on loan and Ali J on the bench. That’s before you have added in Bissouma who is blowing hot and cold and the other multi million pound players on loan including Macallister and Tau

Of all of those arguably only Macallister and Andone would have any chance of turning a profit if sold which says a lot in itself

It actually shows we haven't sold anyone to balance the books, instead we've kept investing. How many of these big purchases (>£5m) are really duds or don't show promise ?

Ryan, Propper, Trossard, Montoya, Mooy, Bernardo, Bissouma, Webster, MacAllister, Izquierdo, Locadia, Andone, Maupay, Jahanbaksh

Locadia and Andone, sure, but Andone was the cheapest of all of those. And for players who cost less, Gross, Murray, Knockaert, Duffy, Burn were all bargains.

Not entirely. You have to take into account where we've come from. As a PL team we're virtually starting from scratch, and all we've done so far (and will for seasons to come) is trying to catch up with clubs which have been established here for years.
Teams that have been in the PL for years are starting with £20 - £30M plus players in every position (and often on the bench too). How many £20M players have we got?

Who are these Twickers Twats you speak of? If you are referring to so called
JCLs who started watching when we got to the Premier League think again. Even when we were in the Championship our average crowds were 26,000 to 28,000. We have always had a waiting list for season tickets ever since moving to the Amex. The only time when it was possible to purchase season tickets en masse was prior to our promotion in 2011 when (I believe) you could purchase 4 STs if you were an existing season ticket holder at Withdean - and they were hardly Twickers Twats by any stretch of the imagination.

Where I sit in the West Upper it has, in the main, been the same faces since 2011 and the “newbies” have been those fans who have moved from another part of the ground - one thing is for sure, all are true, dyed in the wool Albion fans.

P.S. What is your definition of a Twickers ****? Twickenham is a really nice place - good pubs and places to eat. I’ve been to watch England play rugby there on several occasions and I can assure you I’m not a ****, although some people I know might think otherwise.

I think the article quotes Net spend and really means that we havent sold anybody of value as opposed to having spent the 10th largest amount.
