Apparently the hall of shame includes:

Chapmans the Saviour
Safeway
Kylies Stunt Arse
Trigger
The Full Harris
Wozza

I really don't get why this lot have been banned. Maybe it's because i'm not part of any clique so this sort of thing tends to fly over my head. I just don't understand how some people can be really offensive to others, receive a warning and that's the end of the matter, whereas other folks can get banned for bouncing 3 threads. Ok, it's stupid and childish but then NSC is stupid and childish most of the time.

ESS I agree with you.

Find it hard to fathom sometimes how NSCers who are so together and united over key things like Falmer, the Play-offs and general support for fellow posters with tragedy or personal problems can then set off such fireworks over absolute trivia.

Maybe I am missing something or have at last become my father ... a boring old fart.

I just read off NSP that Wozza had been banned. No idea if he has or what it could have been for.

The offensive thread I was thinking off was done quite a while back. It was on speed-dating and Ernest (bless 'im) really started laying into (I think) Trotster, really offensive stuff about her being a "slag" and a "slut". Now that wound me up more than anything else i've seen on this board. Seeing men being really foul-mouthed towards a woman is something I can't stand. He got warned, told he was "on thin ice", apologised and that was the end of the matter.
I'm sure that the people who were pissing around on Friday could have had the same treatment? Just a PM or a thread saying "alright boy's, i'm sure you've had tremendous fun bouncing threads but give it a break or you'll get a slap" or something. If they'd carried on with their "high jinks" then they'd have had no-one else to blame but themselves.
I'm not setting myself up as Clarence Darrow or something, fighting the good fight for the oppressed and banned of the Albion message board fraternity. I'd just like to see a kind of yellow card/red card sort of system set up so everyone knows where they stand. Yes, I know it's only a messageboard and it looks pretty "gay" going to all this trouble over it, but in a way we've proved this season that the people who contribute to this old heap of nonsense can come up with some pretty good stuff. Wycombe protest, Falmer Day, fanzines, banners etc. I don't want to see the chance of doing similar things in the future ruined because of peoples egos and various cliques.
Still, at least it's given them something to talk about on NSP! I still would've liked to have seen Chappers going toe-to-toe with the Scholes bashers today.

Wozza's been banned? The legendary 'Nathan Bin Barley' as Safeway used to call him? Stange times indeed. When are the fixtures out?
