it is true. they are mainly cutting down the workforce by not hiring as many/culling some middle/top managers and not replacing people who leave/voluntary redundancies etc. The idea to reduce the 10% doesnt mean there are 600 going to be out of work tommorow its an ongoing process.
Staff travel etc is also being cut back to save costs

It is defo true, my mate works for them and said something in the number of 7,000 people will go.
