[Albion] Anyone else have the sinking feeling that this is Gross’s last game for us too?

No - Gross won’t be crying Mac Allister style, it’s just not an efficient thing to do! In fact, I doubt Gross has ever cried, look at those eyes!
He knows that bottling things up is suboptimal, so in striving for maximum performance, he'll save it all up for a once a season primal scream.
That way he can plan meticulously and be surrounded by everyone and everything he needs.

Fünf minuten job.

It’s a funny old game only a couple of seasons back and many on here were saying that Gross was so slow he would need to be replaced yet here he is a full Germany international going to the European Championship , it makes sense if he chooses to leave at the end of the season allowing him to move home and play while for the Albion it’s an opportunity to recoup some further funds

It would be the end of an era. Arguably our greatest servant since our promotion to top flight (alongside Dunk).

i think de zerbi leaving makes him less likely to go actually. surely the one thing TB is going to want when the new manager comes in is for the experienced players to liaise with them and help ensure that sense of stability and continuity. can’t see many who can offer that more than pascal. would be madness to get rid oof one of our most consistent players when the manager has left, lallana has also left and maybe a couple of other players who’ve been with us a while will also leave

Except Pascal will decide, not TB.

he is still contracted here for another year. if TB needs to explain to him in no uncertain terms that he needs him to stay, i’m sure something could be worked out. if pascal is still 100% adamant on leaving (which by the way there’s no evidence for) then i’m sure he’d let him go. but i’m also sure that with recent events, TB is now even more likely to do everything in his power to keep hold of him

But isn’t TB’s ethos that literally anyone can leave mid contract with his blessing, if suitable compensation is paid?
