somewhere in Eastbourne
going around everywhere and it seems impervious to anti-biotics
I have had mine now for weeks along with most of the family several Doctors have implied that it is adult whooping cough
anyone actually know exactly what it is ???????

Yes, I've had it for about 5 days now and when I start coughing it gets so bad I start reeching, have puked up almost everything I've eaten or drunk.

I have lost weight however which is not all that bad.

Yes I spent night in hospital with 4 month old son diagnosed with whooping cough. Apparently its severely rampant in the u.k

Had it since New Year's Eve. Son had a constant cough for 3 weeks so we took him to the docs. Was told it wasn't whooping cough or a chest infection but that he should take anti biotics if he still had it 7 days later. 5 days later it went.

Aren't we vaccinated against that in this country?

Yes but babies don't get full immunity until they are about 5 months old. Unfortunately Brighton is one of the places that seems to attract middle class flat earther non vaccinators that would rather believe Viera Schiebner than a qualified medical doctor.

From time to time the body needs help, get the Pro Biotics inside you, especially if you have been taking anti biotics..

Work your immune system back up to fight infection from the inside out..

Get the big guns in,buy a 12 family pack of Actimel and down the lot.

Had it since I got back from the shambolic trip to Blackburn and its still going strong (probably because I haven't bothered to take anything for it), I'll say one thing for it though, it's producing some lovely coloured lumps!

It is very similar to the virus that swept the country a few years back that my GP referred to as Polish Flu due to the massive influx of workers from Eastern Europe with all their germ and bugs which we had no resistance to. Early 17th and 18th century British and French settlers to the eastern seaboard of the US were responsible for wiping out many native american tribes who had no resistance to smallpox , measles , chickenpox and whooping cough.

This work does it? Cough just started for me...
Thank you doctor.

The human body is capable given the correct foods able to extract all it needs, good bacteria levels in the gut help, eat crap and you will feel that way.

I suggest a week of nothing but all bran & brown rice, followed by pro biotics, avoid sugars and processed foods, lots of green leafy vegetables and 2 litres of water per day..

probiotics might help your digestion and related ailments, but hardly going to help with a cough. they have nothing to do with general immune system.

Yes they do,the toxins inside you intestines leak into your blood stream, unchecked can cause all number of health problems..

With good diet transit times are reduced toxins removed and overall health better.

that would arguably help prevent illness, do little to cure. its a fad, it has its place (good for post antibiotics to get the digestion back quickly), but its not going to cure everything. you might as well drink Guiness to improve iron intake (actually, unfiltered real ale is very good for you with lots of anti-oxidants and fibre).
